I. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

- To advise the Director of the Department carry out the task of managing the water resources and hydrometeorology , including : Zoning and planning of water resources use , inspect the observance of the law on water resources and air meteorological inspect and test the product in the tasks of water resources . Appraisal and approval process PPC : grant , renewal , suspension and revocation of licenses for water resources , drilling permits , underground water level , renew , revoke operating licenses of works hydrometeorology specialized locally .

- To advise the Director of the Department carry out the task of managing mineral resources , including : Zoning and planning of mineral resources ; examine the observance of the law on mineral resources ; inspection and acceptance of products of mineral resources tasks . Evaluation of dossiers , the provincial People's Committee approved reserves of mineral exploration reports as common construction materials and peat ; grant, extend , withdraw and allow the return of a mining license , the authorizing the transfer , allowing continued operation of mineral rights in inheritance cases .
