The provincial highway 25A upgrading and improving Project (DT 769, between Cat Lai ferry and the National Highway 51) has been approved for investment by the provincial People’s Committee in Decision No. 5037 dated October 21, 2004. So far, according to the provincial Department of Transport the Road and Waterway Management Agency, during the construction process of the first two packages in the road section 1 (km0+000 to km5+020) and section 2 (km5 +020), there are still some troubles with site clearance and compensation; particularly, for the first section, three households will hand over their land by the first weekend of May 1,2011; and for the second section, the problem is concerned with 50m barrier of the army and more than 1,000 meter land of citizens.
In moving systems of the low and medium voltage, lighting and transformer stations, the real implementation value has reached 95.57% compared to the contract, including 8 substations relocated and 68 medium voltage pillars and 66 and low voltage ones newly set up.
Due to existing problem with construction premises, four poles have not been relocated yet. In addition, for water supply system, the construction unit have fulfilled 97% of the package.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Vinh requested that Nhon Trach and Long Thanh districts together with the investor should carefully review the files of the households also having a problem with compensation and clearance and then submit them for approval this year. For the site related to the army’s barrier, the investor should make a plan to build a similar one.
