The Fifth Blood Donation Session in 2010 Held in Thong Nhat

On Oct. 8, Cho Ray Hospital Regional Center for Blood Transfusion, Dong Nai Red Cross and Thong Nhat Red Cross jointly organized the fifth blood donation session where cadres and workers and students living, learning and working in the district could donate their blood.

Seven hundred and eleven people
registered to join the session. After screening examinations, 300 participants
were eligible to donate. Thong Nhat Red Cross was the prominent agency in
humanitarian blood donation campaign, said Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh, staff of Dong Nai
Red Cross. By earlier this year, the district had held five blood donation
sessions, collecting nearly 1,200 units of blood.
