Some Four Thousand Cases of Dengue Fever Confirmed

According the provincial preventive medicine center, as of Oct. 30 afternoon, the province recorded 3.925 cases of dengue fever. The disease keeps going severe.

Localities with high number of infected people include Bien Hoa city (1040 cases, one death), Long Khanh town (443 cases), Long Thanh district (479), and Xuan Loc (342). Between Sept. 26 and Oct. 3 alone, the province documented more than 20 cases of dengue fever, showing that the disease continued to increase, spread and go complicated. Along with fostering propaganda about HFMD prevention, the localities now actively carry out prevention measures against dengue fever by implementing mosquitoes killing campaign in the villages to raise awareness of every household about the epidemic.
