Bien Hoa City Preventive Health care Center was established and came into
operation in 2007 specializing in the management and organization of preventive
health care activities. However, due to high population density, changing
weather, high rate of pollution, a lot of diseases emerge and spread at a high
speed, which results in the appearance of different epidemic diseases like
malaria, dengue fever, A (H1N1) influenza, hand-foot-mouth disease, diarrhea,
HIV/AIDS and so on. Besides, food safety has many complicated problems; in
particular, food sold along the streets is hardly under control. Meanwhile, due
to the lack of facilities, and human resource that have to be in charge of
supervising in such a large area, the prevention of epidemic has met a lot of
difficulties. Therefore, the Center suggests that the leaders of all levels pay
more attention to and make an investment soon in facilities, equipment as well
as human resource for good preventive health care, and for timely prevention and
control of occurring epidemic diseases.
