To take care of health of people is the most important task of health care sector. Therefore, health sector coordinates with Women Associations to take care of health of women and children such as malnutrition, compulsory vaccination, disease prevention and reproductive health. Health care sector has coordinated with Women Association to achieve high results.

In the first quarter of 2008, Women Associations at all level have encouraged mothers to take 8125 children to healthcare centers to inoculate against 6 dangerous diseases; 15.542 children drink Vitamin A; 3.113 children are vaccinated against hepatitis B; 3.406 are vaccinated against Japanese encephalitis. In addition, they also provide free health care services for over 5.632 children with the total amount of 13 million VND. As for activities to prevent malnutrition, the Association collaborates with healthcare centers to promote activities to enhance knowledge on prevention of malnutrition in children for women who are pregnant and have children up to 5 years old. They also encourage women to commit not to letting their children to suffer from malnutrition. In one month, 17905 women have chance to study about skills on family lives and how to take care of their children. Last but not least, concerning reproductive healthcare services, they have checked up 1600 women and instruct them how to take care of their fetus and over 5000 women receive free gynaecology check-up.
