According to the reports of Health Department, in the period of 2006-2010,
Health Branch has realized its assigned missions. Specifically, up to now its
apparatus has been basically completed pursuant to the decree No 13/2008/ND-CP
by the Government. The health staff has strongly developed in terms of quantity,
structure and skill. By the end of 2010, the number of health staff will have
been doubled in comparison with that in 2005. Socialization is promoted in
different ways, attracting a lot of investment sources, closely and positively
supervising the prevention and control of the outbreak of serious epidemics in
the area, and so on.

The view of working

In
the working session, Vice President of the provincial People’s Committee, Ms
Huynh Thi Nga highly appreciates every effort made by Dong Nai health branch in
the past time. The branch has accomplished most of the tasks as planned and has
been fully aware of the Resolutions adopted by the Province and the Party. There
is an increase in the number of staff and improvement in management quality and
professional skills. Socialization has gained a number of considerable results.
However, the branch has some shortcomings. It hasn’t achieved these three
planned targets: ratio of sickbeds to a thousand people, number of doctors to a
thousand people, and number of doctors working permanently in districts. The
Vice President requests that in the forthcoming time the branch make a detailed
plan on analyzing completed and uncompleted tasks and considering causes and
solutions, carry out administrative reforms, strengthen the machinery, apply
different measures and methods to attract, train and hold human resources on a
permanent basis. It takes flexible combination of Health branch and other
branches to reach unachieved targets.
