Bien Hoa Red Cross: 2,000 Units of Blood Collected

On the morning of July 22, at Bien Hoa Retirement Club, the city’s Red Cross in cooperation with Cho Ray Hospital’s Regional Blood Transfusion Center held the blood donation event for the whole local people.

Taking part in the voluntary blood donation, some 400 donors who were cadres and workers, employees, Youth Union members and people in 30 entities of wards and communes across the city registered and donated approximately 400 units of blood.
Bien Hoa Red Cross said it was the eleventh time of blood donation since earlier this year (and the fifth event in this summer’s Red Blood Drop Campaign) and the total number of donated blood units hit two thousand.
