Of
a total sum of more than VND 8 billion collected, over VND 5 billion has been
spent on the costs of medical care on the students’ health insurance in the past
school-year. Besides, since the appearance of students’ health insurance, nearly
all of the schools have a medicine cabinet and medical staff on site. Although
this has shown some considerable results, it turns out that the percentage of
66% of students paying for optional social insurance is not much. In the coming
school-year, Bien Hoa City Social Insurance Department will continue the
co-operation with the Education branch to promote the awareness-raising
popularization of the pre-eminence of social welfare policies, which helps to
increase the percentage of students paying for optional insurance.
