3,600 Units of Blood after Four Months of the Campaign "The Red Drops of Blood" Launched

On the morning of November 24, Dong Nai Red Cross held a provincial meeting celebrating the 63rd year anniversary of Vietnam Red Cross foundation and released summarized report on "The red drops of blood" campaign in 2009.

As reported by the Red Cross,
after four months of launching the campaign, the province has already encouraged
10,000 people to register as blood donors and received 3,600 units of blood,
achieving 90% of campaign plan, in which some bodies obtained great achievements
in carrying out the campaign such as Thong Nhat district with 400 units of blood
(occupying 190.8% of plan), the Dong Nai Rubber Corp. with 219 units (making up
182.5% of plan), and others.
