In the past five
years, the Party and the people of Dong Nai have become dynamic and creative and
made efforts and obtained significant achievements in all fields in a context in
which international and domestic challenges are growing, Viet emphasized.
This success
shows the tremendous efforts of the Party and the people of Dong Nai and
contributes to the common victory that the Party and the people nationwide have
won.
Dong Nai Province
is supposed to further promote its competitive advantages for comprehensive
development, to strive to handle difficulties and challenges and to utilize all
resources for rapid and sustainable development, Viet said.
To reach these
targets and directions, Dong Nai Party Committee’s 2010 - 2015 term Congress is
required to take following issues into consideration:
First, to
successfully make itself a basically industrial and modern province by 2015,
Dong Nai needs to maintain its high economic growth with a high quality and a
highly increased value.
Second, to keep
the growth of a socialist-oriented market economy, Dong Nai should be correctly
oriented for its own restructure and for the balanced development among economic
constituents and different types of businesses.
Third, Dong Nai
is supposed to take the lead and to make a big breakthrough on sustainable
development the next term.
Finally, to build
and restructure Party organs, the Party of Dong Nai ought to apply past-term
experience, continue to uphold the spirit of self-criticism and criticism,
solidarity, increase solidarity, promote democracy, successfully apply the
principle of democratic centralism, accelerate the "Study and Follow President
Ho Chi Minh’s Ethical Example" campaign.
There is a
growing number of good examples and good deeds among officers, Party members and
people.
Addressing and
listening to Mr. Ho Duc Viet’s directive words, Secretary of Dong Nai Party
Committee Tran Dinh Thanh expressed his profound gratitude to the Executive
Committee of the Central Party, the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Central
Party.
The congress is
required to seriously consider the Politburo’s important guidelines for the
Party and the people of Dong Nai and then to add changes to congressional
documents so that leaders know how to execute these documents .
On behalf of all
congressional participants, he promised the Executive Committee of the Central
Party, the Politburo and the Secretary Committee of the Central Party that Dong
Nai would continuously promote its achievements, handle existing problems and
weaknesses, strengthen solidarity and combination of will and act, attempt to
get over all difficulties and challenges, promote the spirit and the wisdom of
the whole Party and people in Dong Nai, enhance the leadership ability and the
fighting power of the Party, encourage democracy, strengthen the great national
unity and ultimately mobilize all resources to make Dong Nai a basically
industrial and modern province.
Together with its
determination to successfully implement the process of industrialization and
modernization, the Party and the people of Dong Nai have made efforts to reach
the targets set in the resolution of the 9th Dong Nai Party Congress, for "A
Rich People, a Strong Country and a Democratic, Fair and Civilized Society".
