Trainees are involved in the training class “Raditation Safety in Health” |
The main part of this course includes basic knowledge about interactions of radiation with matters; quantities and units in radiation safety; biological effects of ionizing radiation; maximum dose for radiation healthcare providers and citizens; estimation, design to defend and ensure radiation safety; prevention of dangers from external radiation; experience lessons from incidents, accidents and plans to cope with emergency situations. The course also covers some files and circulars related to nuclear power and nuclear power law.
Through having discussions about specific situations and put theories into practice, the course has equipped trainees with useful knowledge about organizing and working out plans to cope with radiation accidents and requirements of radiation safety and nuclear management.
