| Trang Bom farmers take care of dragon-fruit trees |
This project is a part of the province’s program “Building the model of science and technology application and transfer to facilitate socio-economic development in rural and mountainous areas”, aimed at diversifying crops, boosting effectiveness, raising farmers’ income and helping them comprehend fully technique of planting dragon-fruit trees in compliance with GAP standards.
After three years of implementation, the project has fulfilled set objectives and contents, including compilation and completion of technical materials for processes of plant caring and protecting towards safety, and storage after harvest; and technical training and instructions to 30 turns of technical staff of district’s Department of Economy; training courses in technology transfer for 240 farmer households organized.
