The
anniversary |
On November
18, 1930 – Vietnam Communist Party Central Committee issued the Directive on the
establishment of the “Anti-imperialism Alliance" - the original form of the
National Front for the Unification of Vietnam, marking the growth of the
patriotism movement and of the People’s Solidarity Bloc during the national
liberation struggle. Since then, to satisfy each requirement and complete each
task, the National Front for the Unification of Vietnam has organized into
various forms and names corresponding to revolutionary stages such as the
Democratic Front of Indochina in 1936, the National Front for Indochina
Anti-Imperialism Front in 1939, the Viet Minh Front in 1941, the Vietnam
National Union in 1946, the Vietnam Allied Front in 1951, the Vietnam Fatherland
Front in 1955, the National Front for the Liberation of the South Vietnam in
1960, Forces Coalition for Democracy and Peace in 1968 and the Fatherland Front
from 1977 to the present. No matter what stage it was in or no matter what names
it had, the Vietnam Fatherland Front always accomplished its glorious mission -
bringing all patriotic Vietnamese people together for the chief target of the
revolution, the Party and the people.
Currently, the
Front’s operation is constantly being strengthened, improved and expanded, which
has contributed substantially to completing the province’s political tasks. It
is necessary to aim at the renewal of the Front in content and form and
gradually increase the strength of people from all works of life, which has
successfully contributed to its task completion towards socio-economic growth
and political security via emulation movements: maintaining economic growth,
getting rich legitimately and assisting poor households; repaying the favor,
thinking of the person who planted the tree when eating the fruit and taking
care of the families who are governmental policy beneficiaries; maintaining and
promoting socialization activities concerning education and traffic; building a
civilized lifestyle and cultural families and maintaining national security…
On this
occasion, Dong Nai province’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized a
donation event "For The Poor”. Particularly, 22 organizations in the province
made a donation of VND1.5 billion.
