Accordingly, there have been five candidates from Party organs standing as
delegates to Dong Nai People’s Council.

candidates from districts, Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city and 2
self-nominated candidates.

134 candidates nominated by agencies, units and organizations there are:
- 130
candidates showing people’s 100-percent faith in them at workplace.
- One
candidate showing people’s 99-percent faith in him or her at workplace.
- One candidate showing people’s 98.75-percent faith in him or her at workplace.
- One candidate showing people’s 95.78-percent faith in him or her at workplace.
- One
candidate showing people’s 89.3-percent faith in him or her at workplace.
6,409
out of 7,206 voters are summoned to attend the meeting, accounting for 88.94
percent.
Dong
Nai Department of Science and Technology has the biggest number of voters – 200
participants.
Dong
Nai Union of Scientific and Technological Associations has the smallest number
of voters – 4 participants.
Voters’ opinions are aimed at nominated candidates’ own strengths and
weaknesses, analyzing and clarifying the qualities of People’s Council’s
delegates. These opinions ask candidates to make more efforts to fulfill Dong
Nai People’s Council’s delegates’ tasks if they are elected.
Vice
Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Cong Ngon said that a
campaign to collect voters’ opinions and to survey their faith in the candidates
nominated for delegates to Dong Nai People’s Council according to Article 37 of
People’s Council Election Law would be launched as planned.
Dong
Nai Fatherland Front Committee is expected to convene its 3rd discussion meeting
on April 15.
Thus,
Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee asked that in the process
of collecting neighborhood voters’ opinions, concerned agencies take collected
opinions and complaints regarding election candidates into consideration and
return replies before April 12, 2011.
