At the working session, Pravit Chaimongkol expressed
his gladness to see the achievements Thai businesses had gained when investing
in Dong Nai in recent years. He also thanked the Committee for facilitating the
investment by Thai businesses. Besides, he revealed he wanted to learn more
about the development of projects invested in Amata Industrial Park and Dong
Nai’s development orientation in industrial and service sectors in the coming
time so that he could share this information to Thai businesses who want to
invest in Dong Nai.
Dinh Quoc Thai acquainted the Consul General with
Dong Nai’s socio-economic conditions and investment policies. The Vice Chairman
also uncovered that in the coming time Dong Nai would boost service sector,
especially high-class services such as hotels, tourism, trade, logistics,
banking, insurance and so on so he said Dong Nai needed the experience that
Thailand had gained in this field
Among 958 foreign invested projects in Dong Nai,
Thailand has 28 projects with capital totally valued at US$643mil. Some of the
businesses have been operated well in Dong Nai like Amata Group and CP.
