Attending it were Tran Dinh Thanh, Member of the Central Party, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Assistant Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Thao, Deputy Chief of Party Central Committee Office, Assistant Professor Dr. Vu Van Phuc, general editor of Communist Review, Truong Minh Nhut, Head of Ho Chi Minh Branch of Central Department of Propaganda and Training and an abundance of scientists inside and outside the province together with leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities.
“As an area which is formerly basically agricultural, Dong Nai now has become a province with economy and labor structure towards modernization and a central province in Southern Key Economic Region. The 9th Party Congress of the province has established an objective for Dong Nai that is to become basically modernized and industrialized province by 2015”, Vice-Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc stresses.
To accomplish this objective, in parallel with concentration on investment for improvement of technical infrastructure of industrial parks in connection with overall infrastructure of the province, development of human resources, such as labor force, plays a key role in the success of modernization and industrialization processes. Therefore, this seminar will be a scientific and practical forum on success and initial experience of the province while carrying out these processes. Besides, it also refers to challenges, obstacles, blocks that must be cleared out and recommends feasible solutions to promote these processes, helping Dong Nai go first and come first in the modernization and industrialization processes.
