Project of Productivity and Quality Development in Dong Nai Province during 2006-2015

On September 15 morning, the Department of Science and Technology, on behalf of different Departments, branches, enterprises, Economic office and that of Trade and Commerce in Dong Nai Province, held a conference to realize the Project of Productivity and Quality Development in the period of 2006-2015. The project was officially signed and promulgated by the provincial People’s Committee on April 21, 2009.

Project development at Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology

 

 The aim of the project is to form a movement of greater productivity all over the province, which contributes to the fulfillment of the province’s economic development targets at a full speed in an effective and sustainable manner. Another aim is to promote to the maximum all sources to make breakthroughs in quality and increase the local socio-economic growth rate. Specifically, in 2015 the project aims at having 100% of all the local main products that apply international standards to export service, certifying goods meeting standards. Besides, the project has an ambition to ensure 100% of the listed goods that require certification really go through a certifying process, and to have 80% of the area’s enterprises employing an advanced quality management system in order to improve the quality of their business and manufacture.

The project consists of three stages including the first stage of 2006-2008 in which surveys on the realities are conducted and relevant programs are built up; the second one of 2008-2010 for project launch and development; and the last one of 2010-2015 in which via the results of the previous activities, new and effective programs are continued to be evaluated and employed according to the local real demands. Finally, the project totally costs VND 12,428 billion.
