The Department of Science and Technology reported
that 76 researches have been carried out for 4 years (2006-2010), of which 54
one were checked. The Department supported 20 units to implement public
administration reform, 14 enterprises to apply ISO 9001: 2000 quality management
system, and protect intellectual property for 128 enterprises. As for
post-graduate training, the Department cooperated with some universities within
and outside the province, and University of Central Oklahoma (USA) to provide
PhD and MA degrees for 61 people, etc.
At the working session, Vice-Chairman Tran Van Vinh
remarked that the Department of Science and Technology had relatively
implemented the plan with advanced research topics in quantity and quality. He
also asked the Department to boost research application and make great effort to
support enterprises in protecting intellectual property and applying information
technology in enhancement of administration reform.
