Central Study Promotion Society awards emulation flags to two
collectives |
Addressing the
opening ceremony, Mr. Huynh Van Binh – Vice President of Vietnam Study Promotion
Society and President of Dong Nai Study Promotion Society emphasized that under
the leadership of Dong Nai Party Committee, People’s Committee and Fatherland
Front Committee, the Society has received a lot of assistance from committees,
sectors, unions, all levels of Party Committees of local government,
organizations and people’s enthusiastic responses. As a result, the study
promotion movement has obtained positive results, contributed to improving
people's knowledge and education, trained workforce and cultivated talents. So
far, Dong Nai has had 12 study promotion societies at district and city levels
and in Dong Nai Rubber Company, 233 societies at commune, ward and town levels
and at agencies and schools and 2,043 branches belonging to hamlets, quarters,
fellow-countrymen societies, families... and a membership of 116,715 people.
Over eight
years after its founding and growth, Dong Nai Study Promotion Fund has received
a donation of more than VND98.131 billion from organizations and individuals in
the province. In addition, all the levels of the Society has called for
organizations and individuals’ donations such as land, schools, houses of
compassion, bicycles, clothes and other learning materials worth over VND50
billion.

Dong
Nai People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to individuals |
The Congress
agreed to send four collectives and four individuals to Vietnam’s Study
Promotion Congress in Ha Noi in the forthcoming time. On this occasion, Vietnam
Central Study Promotion Society awarded emulation flags to two collectives (Long
Thanh and Nhon Trach), certificates of merit to one individual, commemorative
medals of “Study Promotion” to one individual. Besides, Dong Nai People’s
Committee awarded certificates of merit to 38 collectives and 46 individuals
with a lot of study promotion achievements.
