Department of Science
and Technology Dong Nai (DOST) received its award at the ceremony
|
Present at the ceremony were a Member of Central
Party Committee Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly
Mr.Vu Van Hien, General Director of Radio The Voice of Vietnam along with
representatives of central ministries, agencies and localities.
This is the award co-organized by by Vietnam
Farmers’ Association, Radio The Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Clean Water and
Environment Association, Vietnamese Journal of Philology in collaboration with a
number of management agencies together with press and media agencies to
acknowledge great achievements of Party and Government’s policies on development
of agriculture and rural areas and caring farmers’ life and praise outstanding
collectives and individuals’ significant and effective contributions to
sustainable agricultural development and new rural area construction and
improving of farmers' life.
Besides those, it also helps motivate, encourage
and multiply standout groups and individuals and continue to invest and boost
application of advances in science and technology in agriculture and rural life
to serve socio-economic development of rural society and contribute to promotion
of the implementation of Resolution no. seven on agriculture, farmers and rural
areas, passed by Central Party’s Executive Board.
With substantial contributions to the development
of agriculture, farmers and rural areas of Dong Nai over the past time and at
present, for example, implementation of many scientific research projects for
effective agricultural development, programs aimed at applying scientific and
technological information, broadband Internet and training informatics to serve
the development of economy of agriculture, farmers, rural areas, etc, DOST has
been given by the organization board the award "For the development of
agriculture, farmers and rural areas" for two individuals, including: Mr. Pham
Van Sang, Director of DOST and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue, Deputy Director of DOST and
two collectives, consisting of Informatics and Scientific and Technological
Information Center and Software Development Center, both of which are
subordinate to DOST.
