Agencies and
organizations’ 2009 reports show that most targets have been met and exceeded
plans. Particularly, facing difficulties, tax sector’s earnings from tax reached
more than VND8.558 trillion, accounting for 118% compared to estimated figures,
up 13% against the previous year. Dong Nai Lottery and Services One-member Co.
Ltd has grown steadily and contributed more than VND450 billion to the State
budget. Dong Nai Branch of Development Bank made loans of nearly VND300 billion,
attaining 100% of plan goals. The Department of Finance has achieved its targets
for state budget revenue, monitored budget spending effectively, gathered
resources and increased investment for development and funding for successful
implementation of social security policies.
During his
working visits, Mr. Tran Dinh Thanh, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee,
praised agencies and organizations for their great efforts, noting that they
continue working closely to prevent economic downturn, actively get inflation
under control and maintain an appropriate rate of economic growth and social
security.
On the
afternoon of the same day, the delegation of Dong Nai Party Committee, People's
Council and People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee led by Chairman of
Dong Nai People’s Committee, Vo Van Mot, paid a working visit to Industrial Zone
Management Board, Bureau of Customs, Branch of the Bank for Agriculture and
Rural Development and Dong Nai Branch of the State Bank. Mot commended these
agencies for their efforts to overcome difficulties and fulfill 2009 tasks and
plans, proposing that they keep taking effective measures for achieving 2010
plan goals.
It is known
that Dong Nai’s industrial parks attracted US$557 million of foreign investment
capital, up to US$57 million compared to plan goals; import and export tax
revenue totalled VND5.711 trillion, as much as 126% compared to proposed law
targets, up 20 % against 2008; outstanding loans for agricultural and rural
development in late 2009 reached VND4.1 trillion, up 3% against 2008 and
interests paid on support loans granted to businesses and individuals amounted
to VND375 billion...
