The
Committee to elect delegates to the 13th Tenure National Assembly
and Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council in 2011-2016 period |
According to the decision on the establishment of the Committee to elect
delegates to the 13th Tenure National Assembly and Dong Nai Provincial People’s
Council in 2011-2016 period, it is composed of 31 members.
Vice
Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Council Huynh Chi Thang was elected as
Head of Dong Nai Provincial Election Committee.
Three
Vice-chairpersons to the Election Committee are Vice-Chairwoman of Dong Nai
Provincial People’s Committee Huynh Thi Nga, Vice-Chairman of Dong Nai
Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Cong Ngon and Deputy Director of Dong Nai
Department of Internal Affairs Nguyen Kim Hiep.
Delivering a speech, Chairman of Dong Nai Election Committee Huynh Chi Thang
received the tasks and said that electing delegates to the National Assembly and
Dong Nai Provincial People’s Council in May is a significantly political task.
This
is an occasion for the people throughout the country and Dong Nai people to
promote their rights and to be wise to select, recommend and elect the
outstanding delegates who possess such factors as good morality and talents and
who deserve a representative for the people’s aspirations at the National
Assembly and at levels of People’s Councils.
The
Election Committee is required to follow election procedures, and to provide
optimal conditions for candidates in order that they have a chance to talk with
and exchange ideas with voters with the aim of ensuring democracy, equality and
obedience to the law.
Addressing the ceremony, Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee Tran
Dinh Thanh laid an emphasis on this election’s meaning and importance.
The
Election Committee has the greatest responsibility. Therefore, each of its
members must uphold their active and positive spirit, and do right, enough and
creative to save time and efforts for the completion of assigned tasks.

same afternoon, the Election Committee held its first session to assign tasks to
its member.
According to plans, the members of the Election Committee will be divided into
sub-committees in charge of propaganda, facilities, security, complaint
resolution and accusations...
In
addition, these members are assigned to monitor the election precincts in the
province to fully grasp the situation and timely reflect issues occurring
before, during and after the election.
Since
this is a level-4 election, making the lists of voters and election committees,
units, groups and results might be quite complex.
Thus,
the ideas to apply IT to the election to reduce several procedures during the
election process are being taken into consideration.
Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial Election Committee Huynh Chi Thang noted that
the election propaganda is a very important step to make the election
successful.
