Together with the people to
welcome Lunar New Year's Eve 2011 were Member of the Central Party, Secretary of
Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s
Council Tran Dinh Thanh; Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo
Van Mot; Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thi
Kim Lien, and the leadership from departments, committees and sectors in Bien
Hoa and in Dong Nai.
At the moment of Lunar New Year’s
Eve 2011, provincial and municipal leaders burned incense in memory of
predecessors and martyrs, praying for a peaceful country and a good life for all
people and extending Tet holiday wishes to units on duty on New Year’s Eve.
On Lunar New Year's Eve 2011,
Dong Nai Radio and Television held a television bridge program at 5 locations to
report the joyful atmosphere to welcome the Tet holidays of people from all over
the province.
On Dong Nai Radio and Television,
Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot wished all the
people in Dong Nai a joyful, peaceful and happy Lunar New Year.
Also, Mot expected the Party,
army and people of Dong Nai to continuously promote revolutionary traditions,
overcome difficulties and fulfill task objectives.
Before the fireworks display,
people could enjoy fantastic pieces of music performance on the outdoor stage,
many other recreational activities and especially the lion and dragon dance
contest with a variety of spectacular performance pieces.
At exactly 00:00 a.m, the moment
of transition from the old year to the new year, bunches of colorful fireworks
were fired into the sky above Tran Bien Temple of Literature.
The 15-minute fireworks display
was welcomed by the people with the joy of stepping into a new year.
This Lunar New Year, in addition
to the fireworks display at Tran Bien Temple of Literature, there are other five
fireworks display locations: Trang Bom, Long Khanh, Xuan Loc, Vinh Cuu and Nhon
Trach.
People in these areas had a
chance to watch majectic fireworks displays.
