A series of photos on a direct dialogue with workers

On the morning of October 18, a direct dialogue with workers was held as one of the main activities of Dong Nai Workers’ First Cultural Festial 2009. The dialogue was attended by the comrades: Pham Minh Huan – Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Mai Duc Chinh – Vice President of Vietnam Labor Federation, Dao Duy Quat – Senior Specialist and Editor in Chief of the E-newspaper of the Vietnam Communist Party, Huynh Van Toi – Head of Dong Nai Commission for Popularization and Education and Huynh Thi Nga – Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, by the representatives of the leadership of departments, sectors, Dong Nai Insurance Company, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ho Chi Minh city and a large number of laborers in Dong Nai. The dialogue was held by Dong Nai Commission for Popularization and Education and the E-newspaper of the Vietnam Communist Party in four places: Sonadezi Long Binh Share Holding Company (Bien Hoa) and the Party Committees of Trang Bom, Long Thanh and Nhon Trach districts. The dialogue was broadcast live on the DN1 channel (of Dong Nai Radio and Television)

The meeting
revolved around issues relating to laborers’ current life: employment, income,
housing, social welfare, salaries and so on. In the spirit of democracy and
openness, the meeting attracted the attention and participation of a larger
number of laborers. More than forty questions were raised and eight general
content questions were fully answered.
