90 poor, disabled children receive scholarships and wheelchairs.

On August 25 2006, the provincial Committee for Population, Family and Children held ceremony to grant scholarships and wheelchairs to poor, disabled children in the province. This charity activity was sponsored by Vietnam Incombank and Dongnai-based Commercial Bank, Humanity and life newspaper and Children protection Fund.
At the ceremony, Humanity and Life Newspapers granted 20 scholarships to poor but good students; each scholarship is worth 500,000 VND. Vietnam Incombank offered 20 wheelchairs; each wheelchair is worth 1,250,000 VND. Children protection fund donated 45 gifts to poor students and 5 gifts to poor but good student. The total fund of this charity activity is worth 50 million VND. These gifts are very meaningful to these children aiming at encouraging them to try their best in studying. This charity activity will be launched in Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh and Lam Dong Lam province.
