141 “Good Study, Good Life” children of workers, civil servants, laborers and those who serve in armed forces are commended

According to the 10th “Good Study, Good Life” movement in 2009 launched by the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Labor Union, 141 children representing 9,798 “Good Study, Good Life” examples from all parts of the province were commended at the commendation ceremony for the children of workers, civil servants, laborers and those who serve in armed forces on the morning of August 18.

Among those
who have received awards, there are 38 from primary schools, 76 from junior high
schools, 19 from high schools and 8 from universities. These are the pupils and
students who have achieved excellent academic performance and who have actively
participated in the activities of youth unions and young pioneer organizations
... In addition, many of them have won national awards and scholarships for
overseas study. On this occasion, the organization board awarded 90 scholarships
to the children who are from poor families and have overcome learning
difficulties. Each scholarship is worth VND500,000.
