Ten years
after the implementation of Vietnam Fatherland Front law, the role and position
of the Front in the political system have been more clearly defined and the
prestige and real position of the Front in society have been raised. The Front
has become a great political and social force and a solid foundation which help
strengthen and develop the power of People’s Solidarity Bloc. In the process of
implementing Vietnam Fatherland Front law, the government and the Front have
performed their tasks and functions required by law effectively and worked in an
effective cooperation for the purpose of keep contributing to strengthening and
expanding People’s Solidarity Bloc. The cooperative method between the Front and
the government has been improved and diversified in all fields of activity of
the Front, especially in two campaigns “All People Unite to Build A Cultural
Life in Residential Areas” and “Day for The Poor”.
However,
during the implementation of the law, some weaknesses have been revealed. For
example, some levels of Party committees and Party members mistakenly think that
the Party is a member of the Front and senior staffs have lacked cooperation in
conforming to regulations. Cooperation regulations have shown a lot of
weaknesses. Also, applying them has not been able to go smoothly...
On this
occasion, Dong Nai People’s Committee signed a cooperative agreement with Dong
Nai’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. The regulations consist of 3 chapters
and 16 articles.
Addressing the
meeting, Chairman of Dong Nai’s People Committee – Vo Van Mot highly appreciated
the achievements that the Front and its members have obtained in recent years.
Particularly, the Front and its member organizations have made a contribution to
fulfilling socio-economic tasks and maintaining security and national defense.
For the efficiency of cooperation regulations between Dong Nai People’s
Committee and Dong Nai’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Mot said that both
parties should consider and comply with content regulations and especially
continue the information exchange between the two parties.
