Total Retail Sales of Goods in First Half of 2011 Rise by Nearly 25 Percent

Dong Nai People's Committee’s report indicates that Dong Nai’s total retail sales of goods in the first half of 2011 hit VND32.59 trillion, up 24.8 percent over the same period last year, accounting for over 47 percent according to annual plans.

Services shows the highest growth rate, accounting for 26.6 percent. Next, Hotel and Restaurants rises by 25.6 percent, Travel by 25.4 percent, and Commerce by 24.5 percent over the same period.

Particularly, non-state economic sector now takes up the largest proportion - VND28.77 trillion and attains the highest growth rate - 25.3 percent, followed by state-owned sector - 21.5 percent and foreign-invested sector - 20.6 percent.
