The meeting
agreed to elect four people to the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Fatherland
Front Committee: President of Union of Dong Nai Scientific and Technological
Associations Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Official at Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee
Le Dinh Thao, Pastor and Secretary General of Dong Nai Religion Unity Committee
Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of Trang Bom Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thanh
Hao.
Also, the meeting
elected Mr. Le Dinh Thao as the Vice President of Dong Nai Fatherland Front
Committee.
The meeting
started to implement the government’s Resolution No. 11 regarding major measures
to curb inflation, to stabilize the macro economy, to maintain social security
and to protect national security.
Thereby, Dong Nai
Fatherland Front Committee made Plan no. 71 concerning cooperation with
committees, sectors, unions and levels of Fatherland Front Committee in
implementing the government’s Resolution no. 11 by calling for people to
participate in campaigns, and in patriotic emulation movements.
Through the “Day
for the Poor” campaign, Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee wanted to take care
of government policy beneficiaries and poor households to contribute to
implementing measures that help maintain social security.
At the meeting,
Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Cong Ngon declared
start to implement tasks concerning electing deputies ino the National Assembly
and delegates into levels of People's Councils in 2011-2016 period.
Up to now, Dong
Nai has finished introducing candidates to workplace voters and collecting their
opinions.
It is expected
that the second discussion meeting will be held on March 22.
The meeting heard
Head of Dong Nai Commission for Education and Propaganda Huynh Van Toi report on
the 11th National Party Congress results of the Communist Party of Vietnam and
fully grasped the resolution of the 9th Dong Nai Party Congress.
