Along with that, the association will promote support
for people in building a safe community associated with first aid equipment for
people. Help people build their economy and stabilize their lives through
livelihood support instead of just charity activities. Building a team of
dedicated staff associated with ensuring the lives of employees.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Bui Thi Hoa, President
of the Vietnam Red Cross Association agreed with the tasks set forth by the Provincial
Red Cross in the next 5 years. At the same time, she also highly appreciated
the results achieved in the last term of the Provincial Red Cross system when
it mobilized over VND851 billion to
support the disadvantaged not only in the province but also in 32 provinces and
cities in the country. Dong Nai is a province that effectively implements
voluntary blood donation. The amount of blood received is not only used at
medical facilities in the province but also circulated to many provinces and
cities.
Comrade Ho Thanh Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the
Provincial Party Committee, asked associations at all levels to effectively
implement 7 activities specified in the Law on Red Cross activities in
association with innovating contents and modes of operation, raising efficiency
and quality of activities of the association. Actively advise Party committees
and authorities at all levels on policies and solutions on humanitarian work.
Closely follow the leadership of the Party committees, superior associations to
develop plans and programs in accordance with local realities, units, etc.

Committee to organizations and individuals
In the program, the Congress consulted to elect the
Provincial Executive Committee of the Red Cross Association for the term
2022-2027 with 29 members. Ms. Do Thi Phuoc Thien was re-elected as the
President of the Association. At the same time, the Congress honored Comrade
Nguyen Hong Linh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the
Provincial Party Committee as the Honorary Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross
Association for the term 2022-2027.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee -
People's Council - People's Committee - Provincial Fatherland Front Committee
presented a banner to the Congress with the content: Solidarity, dynamism,
creativity for Humanity.
Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements during the period 2016-2021. In addition, the Vietnam Red Cross Association presented 100 gifts to disadvantaged people in the
province.
