In 2008, 49,246 people graduated from vocational training courses, acquiring 100.5% of the total year’s plan, raising the rate of vocational training from 36% in 2007 up to 37.68% in 2008. The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has granted 2,976 vocational qualifications and 8,221 vocational certificates.

Until now, among 66 vocational
training places in the whole province, there are 44 local ones, 5 central
ones, 4 people-founded ones and 13 others.
To enhance the ability of
teaching staff in vocational training in the province,
the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs
hold 20 classes which improve teaching skills level 2, professional skills and
foreign language for 500 staffs and teachers of vocational training centers.
