The training session aims to help
equip Vietnamese enterprises with appropriate and systematic knowledge to
determine orientations and build an overall and long-term strategic vision on
emission reduction solutions to meet requirements of the markets and maintain
growth. Also at the training session, international and domestic experts shared
with businesses about the carbon market, carbon business, requirements and
commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions of enterprises. and supply
chain; proactive solutions to reduce emissions for businesses, etc.
Through the Workshop, businesses
initially have the right awareness of the importance of mitigating greenhouse
gas emissions and the carbon mechanism, this is really a challenging problem
that businesses need to come up with an initial solutions for Vietnamese
enterprises.
It is known that the workshop is
within the framework of the Vietnam Improving Private Sector Competitiveness
(IPSC) funded by the US Agency for International Development and the Ministry
of Planning and Investment (Enterprise Development Agency) is the
project owner. VISA participates in coordinating projects to connect projects
with Vietnamese industrial enterprises.

owners raise the questions at the Workshop
The USAID IPSC project with a
total cost of US$36 million is implemented in 5 years (2021-2025),
including 4 components: Strengthening management, management and strategic
capacity of growing enterprises; Improve productivity and business efficiency
through promoting innovation and increasing technology application; Improving
the business environment, creating favorable conditions for businesses and the
economy to develop in an inclusive manner; Promote business-to-business and
industry linkages.
The project aims to provide
technical and financial support to 5,000 growing small businesses to help them
improve their productivity; supporting 240 growing small businesses to
successfully enter regional and international markets, including successfully
positioning regional and international markets, including successfully
positioning the products with Vietnamese
brands; 60 pioneering businesses received comprehensive and specialized support
packages to create products with added value and Vietnamese wisdom, positioning
the product brand "Made by Vietnam".
