The
Southern Expressway Project Management Unit (SEPMU) reported that the
implementation of site clearance and compensation for the HCM City-Long Thanh-Day
Giay Highway Project has met some difficulties, especially in adjusting the
documents on site clearance and compensation. In Long Thanh district, revoking
land of 475 project-affected households has met such difficulties as: revoking
lands did not match adjusting the revoke of lands in some localities, the name
of land’s owner was wrong; the technical documents on some plots of land have
not been approved unanimously. These situations are also the same in others
districts of Thong Nhat and Nhon Trach, etc.
In
order to solve above-mentioned troubles, the contractor suggested that the
Provincial People’s Committee and other departments should check and compare the
planning based on the coordinate data to boost the land clearance and
compensation tasks, transferring lands to the contractor so that the project can
be implemented as planned. Reportedly, the site clearance task in Ho Chi Minh
City had been finished, so Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh together with related
departments in districts involved have determined to complete the site clearance
and compensation tasks to start the construction of the project at the end of
this year or at the beginning of 2010.
