Election Comes to a Successful Close

On the morning of May 24, the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee convened a meeting to hear Dong Nai Election Committee report on the initial results of the election of the 13th National Assembly deputies and of People’s Council delegates in 2011-2016 period.

The meeting was presided over by Member of the Central Party Committee and Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh.

Dong Nai Election Committee’s report says that thanks to good preparation work and effective directions, the election of the 13th National Assembly deputies and of People’s Council delegates in 2011-2016 period in the province came to a successful close.

99.64 percent of voters went to polls.

Communications and transport were ensured.

Security and order before, during and after the election were preserved.

Addressing the meeting, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh confirmed that the success election was thanks to the efforts of all levels of authorities and sectors, especially good dissemination of information, which results in a high percentage of voters going to polls.

Through the election, it can be seen that whatever locality has a strong Party Committee, and leaders who always try their best to fulfill tasks, the election went smoothly and good results were achieved.
