Dong Nai Province has got 57,969 non-public students

On November 24 morning, the supervision delegation of the Provincial People’s Council led by Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Head of the Social and Cultural Board of the Provincial People’s Council, had a working session with the Department of Education and Training (DOET) on the implementation of educational socialization in the province in accordance with the Resolution No. 99/2007 of Dong Nai People’s Council.

According to report of the DOET,
by conducting educational socialization, the entire province has 62 non-public
schools from kindergarten to high school levels and 144 private-owned computer
science and foreign language centers and foundations till now. The province has
57,969 non-public students until now, considerably increasing against 2007.
Through the educational socialization, the province’s school network has a high
diversification, which is suitable for socio-economic situation of local areas.
At the supervision session, the delegation acknowledged good results that
education sector has obtained in socialization work. However, the delegation
asked for a further effort to fulfill the target of the Resolution No. 99 till
the end of 2010, and each district then needs to have at least one non-public
school.
