In 2009, the “We Are
Vietnamese –Make Vietnamese Goods Our First Choice” campaign left consumers with
a good impression, contributed to changing their perception of Vietnamese goods
and promoted the growth of the domestic market. In Dong Nai, an intensive
campaign was implemented in many ways. In addition, interesting “Buy Vietnamese
Goods” programs: high quality Vietnamese goods fairs, the campaign to bring
Vietnamese goods to rural areas, fun market days for workers and others with the
participation of businesses, supermarkets and shopping malls in Dong Nai
attracted consumers and brought about a powerful and positive effect in society.
To have a more
intensive implementation of the campaign, the Steering Committee of the campaign
has issued its operation regulations. A meeting to fully grasp the conclusive
report no. 264-KL/TW (Session X) by the Politburo is expected to be held. The
meeting announced plans to implement the Steering Committee’s campaign to all
key senior staffs in the province and disseminated the information of the
campaign within the political system and to businesses, agencies and people from
all works of life.
