20 contestants reach the final round of the contest “Propaganda Staffs Who Are Good at Applying IT and People Mobilization Work”

On the morning of July 25, Dong Nai Commission for Popularization and Education collaborated with the Department of Science and Technology in holding the second contest “Propaganda Staffs Who Are Good at Applying IT and People Mobilization Work” in Lac Hong University. 144 contestants who are working for districts, towns and wards’ Commissions for Popularization and Education and for the Political Training Centers at district level competed in the contest.

Contestants participate in the first round in Lac Hong University

    The contest takes place on July 25 and 26, 2002. The contest has two parts: computer technology for propaganda staffs’ work and awareness of the ability to apply IT to propaganda units.

    On the first day of the contest, contestants had a practical skill test with duration of 120 minutes on basic knowledge of MS-DOS, office computer skills such as Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Powerpoint and the Internet. After the first round, the jury selected 20 excellent contestants with highest scores for the final round on July 26. In this round, they will have to give a presentation on given subjects by using Microsoft Powerpoint.
