The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is the organization of political-social of Viet Nam young established, leading and training by Viet Nam Communist Party and President Ho Chi Minh. The Union includes the advanced youth, voluntary striving for the construction of independent, democratic, prosperous, fair and civilized Vietnam oriented socialist.

Built, trained and mature over the period of revolutionary struggle, the Union has assembled a large team of young promoting revolutionary heroism, outstanding dedication to the work of national liberation and reunification of nation, construction and national defense. Stepping into a new era, Union continue to promote the valuable traditions of the nation and good nature, the continuous loyalty, excellence glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, often supplement regular young forces to Party organizations mobilize union members nationwide youth leader in the industrialization and modernization of the country and defense socialist Viet Nam Father land. 

Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union is the reliability reserve team of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the shock troops of revolution, the socialist school of youth representatives, care and protection of rights legitimacy of youth; charge Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team is a key force in the political youth movements and youth organizations in Vietnam.

- Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh is a member of the political system, operating in the framework of the constitution and laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Cooperating with state agencies, unions and social organizations, labor collectives and family caring for education, training and protecting Teenager, organized for members, youth achievement actively involved in the management of the State and society.​​
