Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union

 

    Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) is a socio-political organization of Vietnamese youth. The HCYU was founded, led and trained by the Communist Party of Vietnam & President Ho Chi Minh. The HCYU’s members are progressive youth, striving for the cause of a nation of independence , democracy, prosperity, justice, civilization directed to socialism. 

    Built, trained and developed throughout revolution periods, the HCYU gathered a significant number of youth, brought into full play revolutionary heroism, excellently devoted to the national liberation, unification, cultivation and defense. Coming to the new age, the HCYU continues to bring into full play valuable traditions of the nation and its good qualities, inherits loyally and excellently glorious revolution cause of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, constantly complements youth force to the Party, encourages its members and the youth across the nation to pioneer in the cause of the national modernization and industrialization as well as defence for the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.  

    The HCYU is a reliable backup team of the Socialist Party of Vietnam, revolutionary assault youth force, and socialist school of the youth. It also represents, looks after and protects legal interests of the youth. It is in charge of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization and also a core political force in  movements and Vietnam organizations of the youth. 

    The HCYU is a part of the political system and its operation is based on constitution and law of the Socialist Party of Vietnam. The HCYU cooperates with state agencies, unions, social organizations, labor collectives and families to care for education, training and protection for teenagers. The HCYU gathers union members and the youth to enthusiastically participate in state and social administration. 

     The HCYU is held and operated following the principle of democratic concentration. 

     The HCYU unifies and collaborates equally with progressive youth organizations in the world for a good future, happiness of the youth and for national peace, independence, democracy and social progress.
