Accordingly, to
carry out the Party’s directives and resolutions Department of Science and
Technology has focused on promoting its direction, administration, and
implementation of scientific and technological tasks since early 2011.
Basically,
fundamental tasks in 2011, which are expected to exceed 15 per cent as planned,
have been implemented.
Department of
Science and Technology will continue making its institution better, enhancing
administrative reform against corruption and waste, and inspection to timely
detect and deal with corruption and waste cases, and increasing leadership
capacity and the fighting power of Party organs and members
Levels of Party
Committee and Inspection Committee’s inspection and monitoring require quality
and effectiveness.
Principle of
democracy at Department of Science and Technology are closely complied with. It
has implemented the government’s Resolution no. 11 by saving 10 per cent of the
budget, delaying purchase of office device, and using power efficiently.
In addition,
Party Committee of Department of Science and Technology itself has set tasks and
taken measures to build a strong and clean Party organ, increase the leadership
capacity and fighting power of grassroots Party organs, and make changes to
Party branches’ activities.
