​According to the Dong Nai Statistics Department, in the first five months of the year, 4 products imported by businesses in the province to serve production are plastics, chemicals, iron & steel, and pesticides. Enterprises have spent nearly US$2.5 billion to import the above items. In which, chemical imported value was over US$901 million, up 21% over the same period in 2021; the plastic imported worth about US$855 million, up nearly 13%; the value of imported iron and steel of all kinds was nearly US$632 million, up more than 17%; imported pesticides valued more than US$102 million, increasing of nearly 17%.
 
​The province currently has about 3,500 people with post-graduate degrees, including 358 doctors, 2,957 masters, accounting for 4.44% of the total number of people working in the province, exceeding the set targets. However, in order to have high-quality human resources, it is necessary to have a change in mechanisms and policies to help them feel secure in their work.​
 
According to the Department of Science and Technology, through the organization of contests related to science and technology, there have been many outstanding products participating in the science and technology market of the province. These products are applied and replicated in state agencies, enterprises, universities, etc.    
 
  ​Recently, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee continuously held a conference to refresh and update knowledge for members of the Executive Board of the Provincial Party Committee and the key cadres in the province in 2022.    
 
​After 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 20 of the 11th Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Plan 155 on the development of science and technology to serve the industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and with the direction of socialization and international economic integration, the field of science and technology in the province has gained significant achievements, making important contributions to the process of socio-economic development.
 
​Since 2015, the whole country has had 452 individuals honored with typical Science and Technology Intellectuals. They are intellectuals working in institutes, centers, research institutions, universities, businesses or agencies of local industries and fields. In 2022, Dong Nai Province has 1 honored individual. That is MSc.Nguyen Van Liet, Vice President of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the province, former Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
 
​Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting with the delegation of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City led by Mr. Chung Van Chinh, Chairman of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City coming to say goodbye to the provincial leaders at the end of his 3-year working term in Vietnam.
 
​On the afternoon of June 10, Dong Nai Customs Department held a dialogue conference with the attendance of more than 100 foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) and enterprises operating in the field of import and export in Dong Nai Province. The participants included Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leader of Dong Nai Tax Department and Presidents of Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean business associations in Dong Nai.
 
​On June 14, Mr. Le Van Thanh, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Government Steering Committee to implement the Long Thanh International Airport Project (Long Thanh Airport) chaired the meeting.
 
​Over the past time, the province has focused on strengthening the application of information technology, promoting the implementation of online public services in the settlement of administrative procedures, especially promoting digital services at level 3, level 3. degree 4.
