On May 31st, along with 1, 1 million High School Graduation Exam Students over the nation, 24.137 students from 49 High Schools in Dong Nai Province began their first 2006’s High School Graduation Exam day. In the morning of the first day, the students took their exam in Literature (time for this subject: 150 minutes), the afternoon was for Chemistry (duration: 90 minutes). On June 1st morning, the students did their History papers (in 90 minutes) and the afternoon was for Geography (in 90 minutes). On June 2nd morning, It was the Math (in 150 minutes) and the Foreign Language or Physics was in the afternoon (in 90 minutes).

On May 31st 2006 afternoon, at the Reunification Palace (Ho Chi Minh City), witnessed by Vice Prime Minister Vu Khoan, Deputy Trading Minister Luong Van Tu and US Vice - Trading Representative Karan Bhatia, on behalf of their governments, signed the agreement , officially ending the bilateral negotiations of Vietnam’s entry to the WTO.
