Laborers working in a toxic work environment need a
periodical health check-up
|
In addition, it
was doubtful that 470 out of 5,276 workers from 38 facilities going for a
check-up had caught occupational diseases.
Surveys showed
that patients with occupational diseases were mainly workers working in the
manufacturing areas of garment and textile, wood products, chemicals,
construction materials, and so on. These patients had such problems as deafness,
dust in the lung, lead poisoning, and so on.
