More than 80,000 Workers Went for A Check-up in 2010

The  statistics of Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs and of Center for Labor Health Care and Environment at Department of Health indicated that more than 80,000 workers from 342 manufacturing facilities and companies in Dong Nai had a periodical health check-up and 334 others had their environment conditions checked in 2010.

 In addition, it was doubtful that 470 out of 5,276 workers from 38 facilities going for a check-up had caught occupational diseases.

Surveys showed that patients with occupational diseases were mainly workers working in the manufacturing areas of garment and textile, wood products, chemicals, construction materials, and so on. These patients had such problems as deafness, dust in the lung, lead poisoning, and so on.
