Market Management in August: A Number of Violations Unveiled

As of August 16, the Market Management Department and inter-branch inspector team has conducted inspections on 225 cases of trading in the province, in which they revealed 211 violations, accounting for 94%. As a result, 219 cases were fined, two were warned, and goods were seized in 22 cases, contributing VND449.6 million to the budget.

Violations primarily represent
manufacturing, transporting, trading in counterfeit and poor-quality
commodities; infringements of food hygiene and safety for cattle, poultry and
the use of banned products and additives; trading in contraband and illegally
imported cigarettes (included on list of goods banned from trading); and
breaches of listed price; labeling, business permits, lack of business
conditions and doing business in irrelevant fields.
The business inspectors and the
provincial inter-branch inspector panel 127/Dp have inspected two firms,
discovering and fining two cases, contributing VND4.2 million to the budget. The
panel also examined and fined seven cases, collecting VND76.5 million to the
budget.
