1. Ben Go village:
About 4 kilometers from
Vung Tau T-junction, along National Road No.52, visitors can get access
to some-300-year old culture, Ben Go ancient village.
It is not known exactly
when the village was built but it is obvious that here is the source of
timber and bamboo which are then traded in Sai Gon-Cho Lon. Ben Go
village comprises An Hoa, Long Hung communes, part of Phuoc Tan commune
(Long Thanh district) and today Long Binh Tan (Bien Hoa city).
Archaeologists have done
research and discovered that Ben Go currently remains a number of
vestiges related to inhabitants and ethnic groups living here about
2,000 years ago in Bronze Age.
An Hoa communal house
being ranked as a historical relic prides Long Hung commune. The house
contains a great deal of sophisticated wooden structures inside, such
as horizontal lacquered boards; certain traditional motifs such as
double dragon plays with the moon, lotus and chrysanthemum branches,
five palaces carved on redundant tips, pillars and girders.
Ben Go church built in 1932 was the earliest one in Bien Hoa city.
Ben Go was famous for
boat race tradition in nineteen century. Boat 16 meters long, 1.6 meter
wide is often made from light timber. The boat team includes 24 people
including one captain, one Gong supporter, one water bailer, one
sailor, five pairs of people standing at center hold and five pairs of
post forcer. The tradition is still kept today and annually the
village’s boat participates in local and regional competition and was
already a regional representative in nationwide competition.
2. Phu My temple:
Two kilometers out of
Long Thanh Town, right at Chieu market T-junction, a asphalted road
occurring leads visitors to heroic Phu Hoi commune. Recently when
coming back to Phu Hoi, visitors inevitably stop by Phu My Temple.
Phu My temple covered
with an antique moss bed is roofed with yin yang bricks, overshadowed
by the ancient-tree forest featuring a typical motif of Sothern village
communal house. It has also left a deep impression in mind of Phu Hoi people.
In October, 1,069 Phu Hoi
people felt deeply painful as they heard Uncle Ho pass away. With a
mounting, the village elders thought how to mourn over Uncle Ho in
front of the aggressive enemy. Arguing that the horizontal lacquered
boards much degraded caused by mole and wood eater needed to maintain,
Mr. Nguyen Van Nuong and Tam Liet created three new horizontal
lacquered boards, stating that:
Ho thien nhi thien
Chi vong tham an
Minh hoa duc hau
(The initial words in these sentences compose Ho Chi Minh).
To date, the three boards are displayed at Dong Nai Museum.
3. Sat forest War Base, Nhon Trach district martyr temple:
Sac Forest is a
salt-mash forest stretching on thousands square kilometers in southeast
Dong Nai, located in Long Thanh and Nhon Trach provinces, through a
strip of Sac Can Gio forest (Ho Chi Minh city).
The forest possesses a
diverse bed of salt vegetables with typical plants, such as mangrove,
aegiceras, cypress and so on knitting each other and creating multi
layer tree where is favorable residence of various kinds of fishes and
shrimps. Here is full of smug and immense waterways made by hundreds of
rivers and canals overlapping.
Sac forest zone was set
to be resistance base since earlier years of the resistance war against
French colonist. It also witnessed B52 vast bombing and toxic chemical
spray, large scale raid joined by many arms, warships and advanced

250 martyrs from Brigade
no. 10 and 1,400 others of Nhon Trach fell down in this violent

this land, Nho Trach martyr temple was under construction in Long Tho
commune, Nhon Trach, the portal to Sac forest old-time war base.
4. Giay Isle relic:
Giay isle tourist site
located in Phuoc Khanh commune, Nhon Trach is presently a favorite
destination. Here are waterways and green gardens with all sorts of
