In
recent years, in order to develop the area and improve the quality of natural
forests, the province has contracted forest, forestry land and un-forested land
for organizations, individuals and households to develop forestry. Thanks to
contracting activities, the rate of forest cover, ecological environment and
the living standards of local people are increasingly improved.
The
units that have contracted forest and land that have not yet covered with
forests are: Dong Nai Culture and Nature Reserve, Xuan Loc Protection
Forest, and Tan Phu Protection Forest.
