Commemorative medals are given to individuals
obtaining many achievements in Fatherland Front activities

At the
anniversary, participants reminisced about Vietnam National Reunification
Front’s 81-year traditions.
In 2011,
municipal to grassroots level Fatherland Front Committees enhanced their
propaganda campaigns to call for people’s participation, making forms of people
mobilization diverse, and strengthening and promoting the great national
solidarity bloc.
Fatherland Front
Committees promoted the “Study and Follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example”
campaign among classes of people by holding such activities as providing
free-of-charge medical examination and medication for and offering gifts and
17,350 kilos of rice to the poor. Given medicine and gifts were worth over VND1
billion.
They also called
for people to join in “People unite to build up life in residential areas” and
“For the poor” campaigns and so on.
On this occasion,
Bien Hoa Municipal Fatherland Front Committee held the 9th honoring ceremony for
105 examples of “Good Person – Good Deed” in 2011.
