orientation for general objectives of economic and social development
in Dong Nai Province up to 2010 is: To utilize all opportunities,
overcome challenges maintain political stability, develop all resources
to maximum, heighten competitiveness in accordance with the
international economic integration process and contribute a positive
part to speeding up national industrialization and modernization in the
socialist direction. To focus on the development of main – force
industries and local advantages; make efficacious applications of
scientific and technological achievements to meet industrial and living
need, create a bases so that by 2010 Dong Nai will become basically an
industrial province within the southern key economic region. To
guarantee a high and stable economic growth; associate economic
development and people’s high material and spiritual living standard
with social equity and ecological environment protection and recycling
to strive in such a way that by 2010 the average GDP per capita will
double compared with 2000 thanks to rational economic structure.
