Quarries in Bien Hoa City are expected to finish exploitation by end-2010 |

Mineral reserve areas play an important role in surveying and exploiting in the future, including 90 over-8,507.42ha areas containing mineral beds. In the scope of planning, some mineral beds were geologically surveyed in detail, but the exploitation condition now is not convenient or not very necessary. The goal of mineral planning toward 2010 is to check and remove those mines that finished exploitation or were not suitable with the socio-economic development in current period; at the same time to supplement some other areas to the mineral planning as required by localities. Accordingly, all quarries in Bien Hoa City will be closed to change the use purpose by 2010.
